Which is your favourite Inquiry Space?

Posted by Victor Perez

As you know, in Go-Lab you can find many Inquiry Learning Spaces to use with your students.

There are many different ones, but we are sure you have a favourite.

Which has given better results in your classroom?

Please share with us which is it and why.

Hi All,

I am new to Go-Lab so I haven´t really used that many lesson plans yet. But I was going through few and my eye caught the one called "sinking and floating". It seems relevant to our curriculum (primary) and it has great videos to inspire kids. We had a great discussion with my pupils about the videos and materials shown. My pupils are 10 years old.

I will use it next week. I already discussed about sinking/floating and showed the first video with a smaller group. I will be back next week with their reactions :) I will go through more lesson plans later on too. Many seemed so interesting :)

I decided to have more discussion-type of lesson to go through this ILS. After the videos we had group discussions on issues and completed a worksheet about this theme. I realised pupils were more eager to fill the questionnaire after watching the videos and after the discussion.  Some nice stories were told about pupils´ real life experiences on that matter too.

Hello all,

My favorite ILS is "Is it good to be beautiful?"

This Ils is related to biology subject and it is in English, so it easy to adjust it to students in each country.

This Ils is very inteesting and it can be developed to few biology lessons

Best regards,

Stella (Israel)

Now that summer has arrived to Europe, we might go to the beach, and for the occasion I will recommend an ILS about acidyfication of oceans and what can you do:

Do you know any ILS related to the oceans or the sea? Please comment.
